15. Graeme Souness
Souness was once described by the timid Garth Crooks as an ‘uncompromising brute’. He went about proving this as he marked his Rangers debut with an awful waist high, two footed tackle on Hibernian’s George McCluskey. Well known for liking a battle on the pitch Souness was even infamous for one post match flare up with the St Johnstone tea lady! Souness then took the controversy with him into management when he nearly sparked a riot after placing a large Galatasaray flag into the centre circle of the pitch of hated rivals Fenerbache after Galatasaray had beaten them in the Turkish Cup final.
